Featuring a large 3 inch’s by 2 inches signed Catherine Popesco enamel butterfly brooch. This beautiful piece is adorned with bluish green and earth tones enamel work giving the illusion of actual butterfly wings! Brooch is in excellent vintage condition with working clasp and signed Catherine Popesco France plaque on the reverse. Designed and handcrafted in France Catherine Popesco recreates genres of the past even using authentic glass, decorations and metals of different eras throughout the 19th and 20th centuries. An exceptional brooch, large and beautifully understated!
