Vintage 1920s-1930s Art Deco rhodium plated round open loop chain faceted purple amethyst glass pendant drop necklace
Featuring a dainty Art Deco 1930s rhodium plated chain necklace adorned with a 10mm by 8mm purple amethyst glass stone set in an open back prong setting with a decorative ornate rhodium plated drop. Necklace is in excellent vintage condition with minor loss of plating giving it a nice vintage patina, working C spring clasp and stone sparkles like crazy! A beautiful feminine vintage piece, most certainly a wearable collectible!! Rhodium plated jewelry was widely used during the depression and world war 2 do to shortages of precious metals etc. necklace measures approximately 14 inches around with a 1.25 inch drop.
