Featuring a vintage circa 1960s signed Lea Stein of France cellulose acetate or rhodoid apple brooch in marbled Apple green colors.Measuring approximately 1.4 by 1.4 inches respectively this brooch is in excellent vintage condition with working clasp and signed Lea Stein/Paris on the reverse.
Lea Stein was born in France in 1936 and began working with plastic in 1957 with her husband and is known for being “the most notable and innovative designer of plastic jewelry in the 20th century”. Highly collectible and sought after I’m pleased to have found this beautiful piece!
